Tickets
We recommend purchasing tickets online. However, physical ticket offices are available at the entrances of Plaza de la Armería and Cuesta de la Vega for inperson purchases.
The Galería de las Colecciones Reales has a maximum capacity, so tickets are purchased for a specific time slot. Please note that the average estimated visit time is two hours.

Group tour
There are three types of groups. Check the conditions for each one:
- All groups must be accompanied by an Official Tour Guide, whether or not the tour is organised by a travel agency
- Groups must consist of between 9 and 30 people.
- The rate to be applied will be that which corresponds to the condition of each group member (see opening hours and prices).
- Groups organised by cultural associations, institutions, foundations, and postgraduate fine arts institutions.
- Groups must consist of between 9 and 30 people plus the teacher.
- An accredited teacher from the cultural group may conduct the guided tour.
- Each group member will be charged the applicable rate according to their category (see opening hours and prices).
- Educational centers that arrange their visit through travel agencies are not eligible for reduced rates or free admission, except for students under 5 years of age.
- Groups belonging to the 2nd Cycle of Early Years of Education, Primary and Secondary Education, Bachillerato, Vocational Training, and Undergraduate or Postgraduate programs.
- The teacher accredited by the educational institution may conduct the guided tour.
- Educational groups eligible for free admission that are accompanied by an Official Tour Guide are required to pay for the group audio-guiding system service.
- Educational groups eligible for free admission must pay a €10 reservation fee to cover administrative costs.
Groups must enter the Gallery via the Cuesta de la Vega / Campo del Moro Gardens entrance.
Groups organised by travel agencies holding combined tickets (Royal Palace – Royal Collections Gallery) may enter via the Plaza de la Armería entrance. Advance booking of a date and time is mandatory.

Temperature
During the summer, the exhibition halls are maintained at a cool temperature to ensure the proper conservation of the exhibited pieces. Visitors are therefore advised to wear light outerwear.

Minors
Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
Photography
Photos for personal use are allowed without flash. Selfie sticks and other stabilising devices for cameras or phones are not allowed.
Animals
Only accredited assistance dogs are permitted in the building.
Food / Drink
Food and drinks must be consumed in the café area.
Collections on Display
To protect the exhibited pieces, please avoid touching them or leaning on the display cases.
Personal Belongings
Bags, umbrellas, sharp objects, and other items over 40 x 40 cm must be left in the cloakroom or lockers.
